NOW HIRING:

Video Editor — B. Kaczmarek Medicine Professional
Corporation · Remote · Part-time, Independent Contractor · $20–23/hour

About the role

We're hiring a part-time Video Editor to support the video and content needs of Dr. Bart Kaczmarek's personal brand, DoctorFlow, Landmark Knee, and related marketing initiatives. You'll work directly with our Marketing & Operations Manager and Dr. Kaczmarek to turn raw footage into polished, engaging video across social and long-form platforms.

This is more than cutting clips together — we're looking for someone who understands storytelling, pacing, audience retention, and brand consistency, and who can take a project from raw footage to finished product with minimal hand-holding.

Punctuality matters a lot here. We're juggling multiple brands and a fixed posting schedule, so we need someone who shows up on time for calls and hits agreed deadlines consistently.

  • Pull the strongest moments/hooks from longer footage to build short-form content

  • Work with the marketing team to understand each video's purpose, audience, and call to action

  • Organize and manage video assets, project files, and footage

  • Incorporate feedback and turn around revisions quickly

  • Maintain consistent visual quality across all content

  • Manage multiple editing projects at once and meet agreed-upon deadlines

  • Understanding of audio mixing and dialogue cleanup

  • Basic colour correction/grading knowledge

  • Strong short-form social media editing experience

  • Ability to work independently from raw footage to finished product
